Who we are.
Hi, I’m Sandra Liperoute - a gift-giving fanatic with excellent intentions who sometimes misses on execution. Let me tell you, I LOVE celebrating people in my life by showing up with little things.
The problem is, you can’t always know what your friend’s favorite cupcake flavor is, or your co-worker’s wine preference, or what brand of golf ball your brother-in-law uses.
When I want to surprise someone with a little thank you gift or an anniversary present, I don’t want to text them to ask what they want! That totally ruins the surprise!
Not to mention, there are a whole bunch of occasions that I want to send my friends a little something, but never quite know what they would want.

What does this have to do with hummingbirds?
I live in a little house on the lake with my family, and I spend A LOT of time outside. Watching the birds and wildlife around our home is one of my all time favorite things to do.
When I learned about the Anna Hummingbird, something clicked in my brain.
These beautiful little birds do not migrate. They stick around their homes 12 months out of the year. They never leave!
I want to be an Anna Hummingbird. I want my friends to know I’m sticking right here with them whether they’re celebrating a birthday or grieving the loss of a loved one. I’m here.
That’s what 12 Hummingbirds is all about. It’s about caring for the people you love, all year round.
